What ET "fatigue" feels like

Ever have one of those days when you just
wish someone would hit your "power off"
emergency switch?
In our latest poll, I asked people to describe what ET fatigue feels like. For 80 percent of respondents, ET fatigue is a "lack of physical energy, not wanting to move," but "feeling 'burned out'" ran a close second with 70 percent of respondents.

These two responses tell me that what we often feel is not only physical but mental as well.

Case in point: Yesterday was the first day of classes for the fall term for me, and by the end of the day, I could hardly sorm fentences.

I mean form sentences.

And I was having trouble making sense of anything said to me. If there were an "emergency power off" button in my brain, its little red light would have been flashing by supper time. As a result, I decided to skip our presidential debate here in the U.S., hit the hay, and watch the highlight reel this morning.

Further underscoring the mental component in ET fatigue is the fact that 90 percent of respondents clicked "brain fog" or "concentration problems." The "typical" ET patient is a middle-aged female, and these symptoms often go along with menopause and may be discounted by doctors. However, many of these mental fatigue symptoms, for me, anyway, cleared right up after the Change ... and then came back about the time I developed ET.

About half the respondents said they felt sleepy, while 40 percent clicked "sleeplessness." Forty percent also said they felt "irritability," and tended to "avoid things you know you should do."

Interestingly, only 20 percent of patients reported "mental stress" as a problem. And that's good, since stress is something that can wear you down and sometimes make your platelet counts jump a bit.

Be well!

ET is a serious disease that requires specialist care. Discuss anything you read here with your doctor. No comments promoting "alternative" or "natural" cures (yes, this includes Rick Simpson's Oil) will be published.
