Downward facing dog for ET!

Arizona State University is running a study to see if yoga can help with the symptoms of MPN patients. I filled out the participation survey, but because of the high level of response, I won't hear for a few weeks whether I've been accepted.

If you're interested in more info about the yoga study, you can visit the Web page here, though you cannot access the videos unless you're a study participant.

In other research news, Arizona State and the Mayo Clinic in Arizona are doing a survey of MPN patients to examine non-pharmaceutical ways of controlling various symptoms, including fatigue, which seems to be the most common problem for those of us with ET.

A small study sample has been completed, is being evaluated, and a questionnaire for a larger study will be available soon. I will post the link to the questionnaire when I receive it.

Helping researchers get a better idea of who you are and what your experiences have been is a great way to help others.

Be well!

ET is a serious disease that requires specialist care. Discuss anything you read here with your doctor. No comments promoting "alternative" or "natural" cures (yes, this includes Rick Simpson's Oil) will be published.
